Well, look! It’s got one tutorial. A real one! That’s not too bad condisering that in order to fully complete this first tut, you’ll need to have registered a frogans address, and have downloaded the Frogans Player for your PC, Mac, or Linux operating system. But you can actually get through most of it without these. You just won’t be able to see the fruits of your labor. Give it a good read anyway, as it should shed some light on some fundamental concepts in Frogans technology.

Frogans FSDL Publishing – part 1

Lest you get the idea that authoring frogans is doomed to be a laborious code-laden brain-sapping experinece, I ought to remind you all that a simple solution is in the works. STG Interactive is working on the Frogans Start Service, a frogans authoring tool and hosting service on the Web. It’ll allow you to make frogans from templates. The choices in functionality will be limited compared to full-scale authoring, but we’re going to try to make them as varied and as fun as possible. And the template designs should multiply like tadpoles over time.
